Once you've completed the Monitoring Information entries for the Monitored Subscribers, there are additional Special Subscriber, Subscriber Panel, Panel Zone & CSID Zone Entries required for:
Certain internally generated Messages and Signals which, from time to time, are sent by the SPA - Signal Processing Application,
Central Stations who provide Dealer Monitoring Services, there are special entries for the Alarm Dealers for whom those Monitoring Services are being provided.

These are four types of Special Entries required and their Purpose:
1.Special Subscriber Entries - Subscriber records used by MKMSCS and SPA to properly track internal SPA Signals, supervise Receivers, and monitor Alarm Signals from any Alarm Dealer's Accounts for whom Monitoring Services are being provided.
2.Special Subscriber Panel Entries - Certain CSIDs - used internally by SPA to supervise equipment - must be defined as Subscriber Panels.
3.Special Panel Zone and/or CSID Zone Entries - Panel Zone and CSID Zone records must be defined because they are used by and for SPA Generated Messages for Signal Processing of Status Changes and System Errors which are required to properly manage the Central Station.
4.Special Alarm Dealer Entries - Alarm Dealers for whom Monitoring Services are being provided must also be entered as Subscribers; and CSID Zone, People to Call and Event entries for the purpose of extending the normal Operator response for those Alarm Dealers, should be created as  required.
Note: See I. through IV. below for detailed information about each of these requirements.

I.Special Subscriber Entries
There are one or more "system" CSIDs that must be defined for the proper operation of SPA and the MKMSCS Central Station Monitoring modules.
Based on the data entry method chosen for Identifying your Receivers and SPA - following the instructions in the preferred Option A., or the alternative Option B. below - you must enter either:
i.A Subscriber named "SPA" representing the SPA - Signal Processing Application itself with a Subscriber Panel CSID entered for "SPA" and additional Subscriber Panel CSIDs entered for all of the Receivers which will be connected to SPA; or
ii.An individual Subscriber record representing SPA and then create as many additional Subscriber records, as needed, to identifying each Receiver that will be connected to SPA.

Identifying your Receivers and SPA

Option A. - Create a "master" Subscriber record named "SPA" and identify SPA and every Receiver connected to SPA as individual CSIDs in the Subscriber Panel section of the Central Station Data Form - with all of these Subscriber Panel CSIDs assigned to that single Subscriber "SPA" record.

The first Subscriber Panel CSID will be "SPA"
Then additional Subscriber Panels CSIDs - representing the Receivers - are entered as RP1, RP2, RPn..., etc., where RPn = the Receiver Port Number to which each Receiver is actually connected.

Option B. - Create as many "system" Subscriber records - each with its own individual Subscriber Panel CSID, as needed:

First, identify SPA, and every Receiver connected to SPA, as separate Subscriber records:
oThe first of these Subscriber records must be named "SPA".
oThen the additional Receiver Records must be named RP1, RP2, RPn..., etc. where RPn = the Receiver Port Number to which the Receiver is actually connected.
The identify each of these Subscriber Receiver records with its own Subscriber Panel and CSID named the same as the Subscriber record.

II. Special Subscriber Panel Entries
Regardless of whether Option A. or B. was chosen, the end result is that a Subscriber Panel with a "SPA" CSID representing the SPA - Signal Processing Application itself, and a Subscriber Panel CSID representing each Receiver connected to SPA, (identified by its Receiver Port Number - RP1, RP2, RPn - where th "n" is the Com port, Rocket Port, Device Master, etc. through which the Receiver is connected to the Computer running SPA) must each be identified - either as follows:
a)A Subscriber Panel CSID for the Subscriber record named "SPA" is added with a Subscriber Panel CSID of "SPA", and additional Subscriber Panel CSIDs are added representing each Receiver connected to SPA (the preferred Option A. above), or as
b)Multiple Subscriber records - one Subscriber record representing SPA having its on Subscriber Panel CSID of "SPA", and additional Subscriber records created - one for each of the Receivers connected to SPA, each of these entered as separate Subscribers, and with each Subscriber record having its own Subscriber Panel CSID representing a specific Receiver (alternative Option B. above).

III.Special Panel Zone and CSID Zone Entries
Important Note: - Condition Codes - Certain Alarm Condition Code(s) must be predefined to ensure the proper entry of the SPA and Receiver CSID Zones.
i.MSG - System Messages
ii.Additional codes may be required for future upgrades.

Special Panel Zone Entries - Certain specialized Panel Zones must exist for each Communicator Format to identify special circumstances. Because each Communicator Format has its own (somewhat) unique set of Panel Zones representing almost all of the Alarm Signals and Events that will be transmitted by that type of Communicator Format, each of these Communicator Formats must also have these specialized Panel Zones as outlined below:
Panel Zones -  The Panel Zones required for each Communicator Format are as follows:
Signal ID = A105        Alarm Code = System Messages        OCTAR = Alarm        Description = Runaway alarm (Received too many signal in a small period)
Signal ID = A107        Alarm Code = System Messages        OCTAR = Alarm        Description = No CSID or SI on Alarm Signal
Signal ID = A108        Alarm Code = System Messages        OCTAR = Alarm        Description = Invalid Caller ID (Phone number not in CSID caller list)
oThree Signal ID = A108 records must be entered with the following Physical Zones and Descriptions:

Special CSID Zone Entries for Receivers - These entries are for the Receivers, which have each been identified as Subscriber Panel CSIDs, and used to identify the special signals which may be sent to SPA by each of those individual Receivers.
Important Note1: In addition to those Special CSID Zone Entries listed below, you may also need to define additional Signal Identifiers, if so specified in the Manufacturer's Instructions, for each Receiver you are using.

CSID Zones -  The CSID Zones required for each Receiver's Subscriber Panel are as follows:
Signal ID = A100                Alarm Code = System Messages        OCTAR = Alarm        Description = Port already open

Important Note 2: Define the initial set of CSID Zones for a Receiver (as listed above), then use the Copy To... Icon on that CSID Zones Form to copy this initial set of CSID Zones to each of the other Subscriber Panel CSIDs representing each of the additional Receivers.

IV.Special Alarm Dealer Entries
Enter a Subscriber record for each Alarm Dealer for whom you are providing Dealer Monitoring Services.
This special Dealer Entry may be the same Subscriber record entered for the purpose of actually monitoring that Dealer's premises, or an additional Subscriber record, if more appropriate.
When defining your Alarm Dealers as Subscribers, keep in mind that you may also define Events, People to Call and CSID Zones for that Dealer.
These Events, People to Call and CSID Zones for this special Dealer Entry may be used later to pre-populate Accounts established using the Create Mass Accounts function.
Using the Account Templates Form, several sets of Template Defaults may be established for each Dealer.
The People to Call associated with a Subscriber Panel CSID for this Dealer, may be assigned to any Subscriber Panel CSID being monitored for that Dealer, to identify the Dealer Call List as part of the Global Call List for that Subscriber, or that set of People to Call may be used for their actual monitored Account.
A second (internal) Subscriber Panel CSID may then be defined with it's own People to Call for use as the Dealer Call List for the Global Call List.
So, it may be easiest to enter more than one Subscriber Panel CSID for each Alarm Dealer to define multiple sets of predefined Events, People to Call, and CSID Zones.
