Defining the Contract Types - Before identifying a Subscriber's Monitoring Related Contract information, you must create the Codes and Descriptions representing the Monitoring Related Contract Types being offered by your Company.
Contract Types represent what monitoring related, and contracted for, services are being provided to Subscribers
The definition and assignment of Contract Types is a requirement for UL® Accounts and therefore is a required Central Station Monitoring module start-up process.
Having the appropriate Contract Type specifically identified for a UL® Listed Subscriber is a UL® requirement for those Accounts.
Also, by entering your Monitoring Related Contract Types for the Monitoring Services being provided for each Subscriber enables the functionality of the Subscribers with No Contract report.
To be able to assign this Monitoring Related Contracts information to a Subscriber:
Create the Contract Types that are being offered (as explained below)
Assign the Contract Type(s) that each Subscriber has taken in the Subscribers Form's General Quick Access Menu's Contracts option.
Subscribers may have more than one Contract Type assigned to the same Account.

The Monitoring Related Contract Types are defined by Choosing Maintenance from the Main Menu, Selecting the Central Station sub-menu, then Clicking Contract Types option.
This selection displays the Contract Types Form (a sample of which is shown below).
