□ | To access the Central Station Options tab (from within MKMS) on the User Options Form: |
• | On the Main Menu Select Maintenance, Choose User Options |
• | Then Click the Central Station Options tab. |

• | The default tab is the General tab. |
▪ | Time Difference From GMT - Enter the number of hours before (a minus value) or after (a positive value) your Central Station is, in comparison to Greenwich Mean Time. |
▪ | Honor Day Light Savings Time - Check this box if your local government honors Day Light Savings Time. |
► | On Hold Options: Alarm Signals may be placed On Hold while awaiting an additional response (either an additional signal, or a Subscriber - or a Responding Authority - to call back). |

▪ | On Hold Default (Minutes) - This is the default number of minutes MKMSCS will place the signal On Hold. |
o | An Operator may increase this On Hold Default number up to the On Hold Maximum defined below (which may be up to a maximum 720 minutes - 12 hours). |
▪ | On Hold Max (Minutes) - This is the maximum number of minutes MKMSCS will allow an Alarm Signal to be placed On Hold. |
o | An Operator may increase the On Hold default number up to the number defined here which may be up to a maximum 720 minutes (i.e., 12 hours). |
▪ | Allow Indefinite On Hold - Check this box if you do not want any restrictions on how long an Alarm Signal may be placed On Hold - generally only used because of maintenance personnel working on their system, or because of an on-going system malfunction. |
► | On Test Options: Specific Zones (i.e., Panel Zones and/or CSID Zones), and/or entire Alarm Systems may be put into an On Test mode. |
▪ | When an Account is Placed On Test, this instructs MKMSCS to simply log the specified Signals until the Allotted Time for the On Test mode has expired. |
o | This means that SPA will ignore the designated Signal(s) - except to record them in the Subscriber's Alarm History file - even if they are normally supposed to be processed as Active Signals. |

▪ | Opr. On Test Default (Hours) - Enter the number of hours, by default, that specified Zone(s) or an entire Alarm System that is placed On Test by an Operator, will remain on On Test. |
o | This number may not exceed 24 hours. |
o | The value set here determines the default Ending Time when an Account is Placed On Test. |
▪ | Sup. On Test Default (Hours) - Enter the number of hours, by default, that a system placed On Test by a Central Station Supervisor, will remain in the On Test mode. |
o | This number may not exceed 720 hours (i,e., 30 Days). |
