Holidays have a special significance to those working within this 24/7/365 security alarm industry business - specifically, Holidays are for others.
Knowing what days the monitored Commercial & Industrial accounts consider Holidays is important for processing alarms and managing Opening & Closing events.
Obviously, not all of these Subscribers will celebrate all of the Holidays defined here.
But all of the Holidays will be celebrated by some, eventually.
To define all of the Holidays that will need to be tracked, On the Main Menu, Choose Maintenance and Select Central Station, then Click Holidays.

There are three columns of data in this Holidays Record Listing:

Each column's Header Name describes the data contained in that column.
Clicking on a Header Name will set the order in which the Holidays will be listed.
Clicking on the same Header Name will set the order in the opposite direction (ascending vs. descending).

To define the Holidays being celebrated by one or more of the Subscribers being monitored:

ID - This is the system assigned record number which is inserted automatically when the record is initially saved.
Holiday On -  Date - Using the Drop-Down Date Selection Box provided, Select the Date on which this Holiday falls within the current Year.
Description - Enter a Description of this Holiday entry.
The Description may up to 30 characters in length and include upper and/or lower case letters, numbers, spaces and normally used punctuation marks.
Click the HelpFilesNavigationMenuSaveIcon to record this Holiday entry.
Repeat this process, as needed, to define each Holiday.

Maintaining the Holidays Schedule:
Because the Day (Christmas, July Fourth, New Years Day, etc.) and often the actual Date (ex. Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day,  etc.) that Holidays are celebrated change from year to year, after your actual Holiday names and dates are defined, the Dates must be re-set annually.
As each Holiday passes, return to this Holidays Form.
Using the Drop-Down Date Selection Box provided, re-set the Holiday On field to the date on which the Holiday will fall in the coming year.
Click the HelpFilesNavigationMenuSaveIcon to record this modification of the Holiday entry.

Using the Special Functions on the Navigation Menu at the top of the Holidays Form:
Print - Click the Print Icon to View and/or Print a list of the Holidays Report.
